we all got lost

Written by Camille Intson

Directed by Stephanie Hope Lawlor

Eight years ago, five schoolgirls built a secret world in the woods outside their small Northern Ontario town where they could become whoever they needed to be, away from the rules of school, family, and faith. They told each other stories, rewrote the ones they'd been handed, and one winter night, something happened that none of them have been able to put into words since.

We All Got Lost is a queer gothic coming-of-age play about memory, friendship, and the stories we tell to survive — and the ones we carry long after we've stopped being able to tell them at all.

Five schoolgirls form a secret storytelling circle in the woods of a remote Northern Ontario township – until tragedy forces them to reckon with what their stories cost. A queer gothic coming-of-age play about girlhood, disobedience, and what happens when storytelling goes too far.
